Lighting systems built to stay lit

A low-bid obstruction light can pass inspection on day one and fail you a few years later, when an outage means an unplanned climb and a NOTAM. LumenServe uses best-in-class LED from the first OEM the FAA approved, back in 1999, now in its 5th generation. We specify the system to the FAA study number (ASN) and Determination letter for each of your ASRs, so the lighting matches exactly what the FAA requires for that structure, then install it with minimal impact on your operations.

What LED systems do you install?

What tower heights and light intensities do you cover?
Medium and high intensity systems for structures from 200 to 2,200 feet. We size the system to your structure and its FAA obstruction-lighting requirements.
Can you light a tower with no power source?
Yes. Most towers have a power source, but for remote structures with none, such as electric transmission corridors, self-contained solar with battery backup meets FAA specifications with no grid connection or conduit, often the only technically viable option.
How does installation affect our operations?
Minimally. We engineer the system up front, file the FAA forms, and run a managed install with a welcome letter, kickoff meeting, site walk, safety program, and quality checklist, closing out with a fully photo-documented package.
Do I have to buy the system, or can I lease it?
Either. You can purchase the system outright, or get the same LED through TLaaS®, where LumenServe funds and installs it and you pay a flat monthly fee with no capital.
Is there a warranty on the system?
Coverage is available as a separate service. Our Assurance Warranty can be added for all-inclusive repair and replacement at a flat rate, including labor and tower climbing. Under TLaaS®, that coverage is already built into your monthly fee.
Can the new system reduce our costs beyond power?
Often. LED draws roughly 90% less power than incandescent, and on qualifying structures a compliant lighting system may eliminate the need and cost of tower painting.
